Instructions:

1. Cut the pine boards to the following dimensions:

  • 1 1/4-inch thick pine board (cut to 48 inches in diameter)
  • 1 1/2-inch thick pine board (cut to 24 inches in diameter)
  • 1 1/2-inch thick pine board (cut to 18 inches in diameter)
2. Apply wood glue to the edge of the 1 1/4-inch thick pine board. 3. Center the 1 1/2-inch thick pine board on the 1 1/4-inch thick pine board and press it down firmly. 4. Clamp the boards together and allow the glue to dry completely. 5. Once the glue is dry, drill pilot holes around the edge of the 1 1/2-inch thick pine board. 6. Countersink the pilot holes. 7. Drive screws through the pilot holes and into the 1 1/4-inch thick pine board. 8. Sand the table until it is smooth. 9. Apply a wood finish to the table and allow it to dry completely.

Tips:

  • Use a sharp circular saw blade to get a clean cut.
  • Be sure to apply wood glue evenly to the edge of the pine board.
  • Clamp the boards together tightly to ensure a strong bond.
  • Allow the glue to dry completely before drilling pilot holes.
  • Use a countersink bit to create a recessed area for the screws.
  • Sand the table thoroughly to remove any rough edges.
  • Apply a wood finish to protect the table and give it a beautiful shine.
